Hi babes! With so many new tools and gadgets coming out constantly it can sometimes feel overwhelming. Do I really need this? Does it really work? Am I actually going to use it the way I’m supposed to to see results? These are all questions I ask myself before purchasing or putting it on a Christmas wish list :) I have compiled a list of tools I either have and love or want to add to my regimen. It’s nice that we live in a time where we have so much access to at home beauty treatments for a fraction of the cost it would be to go get these done professionally. Some are for sure gimicky but some really work if you take the time to use them. Comment below if you would like to see a Youtube Video describing how I use some of these at home and how they have helped!Read More
I don’t know about you guys but I will not drink water unless it’s filtered. If we are made up of 70-90% water, then you better believe you want good quality, clean water going into your system and feeding your cells. I am a big believer in this and can go into it at length in a future post. Not just for you but for your pets as well.
The water you use to wash your hair, face and body with is just as important! There is so much chlorine (amongst other things) in our water and if you are someone who colors their hair, has breakage, dry skin or acne, I truly believe adding a filter will be life changing for you. It was for me.
Since I started using a filter on my shower, my skin has cleared up, my color doesn’t turn brassy, my hair is shinier and the skin on my body feels more hydrated. I will link a few below but my favorite at the moment is the one by T3.
That does it for me. The minute I step onto grass, surrounded by trees with preferably a lake nearby, I am instantly recharged. The smells in the air, the sun on my face (covered in sunscreen of course!) The sound of birds chirping (doves cooing) and the wind rustling through the leaves. Theres nothing like it for me. When I was a kid, I spent my summers in the country at a sleep away summer camp. Those were the best memories of my childhood. It was there that I discovered my love for acting by being in the plays and it was there where I discovered how important being outside in nature was for me. We played sports all summer long and spent the entire summer outdoors in nature. From volleyball to tennis to basketball, baseball and soccer. We did every water activity you can possibly do on a lake from waterskiing to sailing, wind surfing and canoeing. These were the happiest years of my childhood. They were when I was most at peace. Maybe that's why when I step out into a location like this one here, I am filled with so much gratitude, peace and just happy feelings. What type of locations make you feel happy? Happy Friday loves!
