AMSTERDAM PART TWO! (Shopping, Anne Frank House & Press)

We spent a total of four days in Amsterdam. In our spare time, we tried to take in as much as we could. One morning, Kim Matula, Heather Tom and I went to explore The Nine Streets, which is very close to Dam Square and has some of the best shopping. Heather was an awesome tour guide and took us to some of the best little boutiques.

The next day, Darin and I had the morning off so we went to The Anne Frank house.

Outside the Anne Frank House

The Anne Frank House was very emotional for me as it would be for anyone. My grandmother was a holocaust survivor so I was deeply affected walking through it. It is definitely something I recommend making a point to see if you ever find yourself in Amsterdam. We didn't have time to see the Van Gogh or Rembrandt House museums but I hear they are a must see if you are there.

After that, I took him back to The Nine Streets (obviously!) and we stumbled upon the Karl Lagerfeld store on Hartenstraat.

We then had to hurry back for an afternoon of press. I had thrown on this outfit in the morning with my Steve Madden boots to run around in, and swapped them out for my Rag & Bones for photos. kellynew1

Red Hot: Fall Fashion Just because the weather may be cooling down, doesn't mean your wardrobe has to! One of the biggest trends for fall is bright colors. Red is one of my favorite colors to wear. No matter what, whether its a dress, shirt, lipstick, nails or a great bag, throwing on some red makes me feel sexier instantly. The photo above is a dress I wore to the Emmy's this year. My hairstylist Robert chose to give it a more modern look by doing my hair up, while my make up artist Brittany decided to give me a very smokey eye and nude lip. I paired the look with a Christian Louboutin Lady Peep  pump in nude, Emerson Ryder Jewelry and a silver vintage clutch.

My friend Cameron Richardson chose to wear the same dress to a  recent wedding and was the belle of the ball! (other than the bride of course!) She has never felt sexier, yet still so classy.
