I feel like there are always so many questions on what the proper attire for someone else's wedding is. How you should do your hair and makeup etc. I did a post on this last year after my good friends wedding but before mine. I can now honestly tell you, after having been a bride myself, what you wear to someone's wedding really doesn't matter unless you are wearing white or are  inappropriate dressed in some way. The bottom line is this is the brides night to shine. Don't do anything that will take the attention and eyes off of her BUT always look your best and be classy ( which goes without saying)  Also take into consideration the location and climate. Will you be in grass or sand? Is it indoors or outdoors? Hot or cold? And base your outfit/hair/makeup choices accordingly.

We just spent the most beautiful weekend in Sonoma (more on that later!) at our very close friend Frankie's wedding. It was so beautiful. Darin and I feel so lucky to have been able to witness such a perfect union. It was a dream wedding for sure. For my makeup, I wanted to keep it very clean and simple yet still bright and dewy as summer isn't over quite yet!

When heading to a destination wedding, you also want to pack as light as possible. This is where makeup palettes come in handy! (You girls know thats my weakness)

What I used:

Foundation: My new obsession is Smashbox Studio Skin foundation (post coming soon!)

Eyes: Charlotte Tilbury Eye Palette in Dolce Vita

Liner: Smashbox limitless liquid liner

Blush: Jane Iredale quad bronzer in sunbeam

Concealer: Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard

Highlight: Laura Mercier Face Illuminator

Lips: Charlotte Tilbury Matte lipstick in Kidmans Kiss
